Prior Warning Notices on West Cork Beaches

Prior Warning Notices placed at The Warren, Tragumna, Barleycove, Cadogan’s Beach, Red Strand, Ballrisode bathing waters.

Due to the possibility of accumulative heavy rainfall on Saturday the 2^nd and Sunday the 3^rd of September, in the West Cork area, and the possible impact on bathing water quality,  Prior Warning Notices have been placed on the following beaches to protect beach users:

The Warren

Tragumna

Barleycove

Cadogan’s Beach

Red Strand

Ballinrisode

These bathing waters will be sampled on Monday the 4^th of September.  The full set of results, available on Wednesday the 6^th, will be reviewed and the situation will be reassessed then.  Results will be posted at the beaches.
