Warning to the public re sightings of Portuguese Man O’ War jellyfish on Long Strand Beach
Portuguese Man O’ War jellyfish have been spotted at Long Strand beach in recent days. These jellyfish can inflict severe stings & therefore contact should be avoided. Warning notices alerting the public to avoid contact with these jellyfish have been placed at the above mentioned beach. General information on jellyfish stings can be obtained at www.iws.ie.
