Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins Opens New Playground for Ballinhassig

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins has officially opened a new playground in Ballinhassig. The nature-inspired playground incorporates natural play spaces that are designed to adapt to their setting. Located in the heart of the village on a 2-acre community park, the project was managed by Cork County Council with input from Ballinhassig Village Association.

Ukrainian Book Collection Launched at Youghal Library (Bilingual Ukrainian)

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service at Youghal Library has received a wonderful gift of 330 books in the Ukrainian language, generously donated by people in Kyiv, Ukraine and Bratislava in Slovakia. The collection includes a mix of adult books and children’s books, many of which are popular favourites.
