County Cork hosts a diversity of wildlife reflecting its geographical position on the southern coast of the country, with its geology dominated by sandstone ridges and limestone valley floors.

What is Archaeology?

Archaeology is the study of the past through the collection and investigation of monuments and artefacts.

Composer in the Classroom. 

Each academic year, two post-primary schools in Cork County are selected host a composer in residence programme for transition year or 5^th groups. The project is operated in partnership with the Cork International Choral Festival which provides a performance opportunity as part of its main programme for the school groups to perform their new compositions.

Culture Night is the annual  public celebration  culture, creativity and the Arts. This year, it will take place on Friday, September 22nd.
