Newmarket

The new Library at High Street, Newmarket  opened its doors to the public at 11am on Friday 19th July 2013.  Newmarket Library offers  a varied modern stock of books, books on tape/CD, and DVDs as well as access through request to any item for loan in Cork County Library's stock. Children and teenagers are also well catered for, the library offers variety of reading for these groups. Access to the Internet is now an integral feature of library membership and Newmarket Library will offer a Public Access PC to library members.

    Various activities are held throughout the year, including activities for the Bealtaine Festival, the Summer Arts Programme and the Children's Book Festival.

     Glanworth National School present a copy of their recent poetry book to the library on Thursday 27th February at 4.00pm.
