Community Embark on Town Centre First Regeneration Plan for Kanturk

Representatives from a range of local community and business groups attended an information evening to mark the first steps towards a Town Centre Regeneration Plan for Kanturk. The inaugural event offered over 40 community stakeholders in attendance the opportunity to meet with staff from Cork County Council’s Town Regeneration Office and to find out how to get involved.

Cork County Council Grants Creative Wishes for Cruinniú na nÓg 2024

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service has announced the 2024 Cruinniú na nÓg programme, with over 30 creative events planned across the county on Saturday the 15th of June. This year’s programme is unique in that it was almost entirely programmed by the children of Cork themselves.

Launch of the Newly Refurbished Blue Pool Trails Glengarriff and Opening of Bantry Peace Park

Cork County Council has officially opened two new exciting recreational developments in West Cork. Bantry Peace Park is now home to a new inclusive playground suitable for all ages. The Blue Pool Trails Glengarriff underwent extensive improvement works including accessible paths and new seating and viewing areas.
