TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

L-92001-1 Burnfort & Lissard Townlands, Mallow, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 9th September 2024 to 18:00hrs on Friday 11th October 2024
(24hr Closure)
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Drainage Works.
Alternative Routes
N20 Traffic continue North on N20 to junction with L-1217-0. Turn Right to L-1217-0 and continue on L-1217-0 via Burnfort to Junction with L-92001-1.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-113 -2024, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 7th August 2024. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

L-3424 Mill Road, Macroom, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 07:00hrs to 19:00hrs (Daily Closure) from Monday the 9th September 2024 to Friday the 20th of September 2024.
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate road rehabilitation works.
Alternative Routes
Take L-3424 east to junction with Rusheen Road, turn right onto the L-3423 to Coughlan’s Corner. Take right onto R618 and keep right towards Macroom Town, turn right on the L-3418 Masseytown Road, turn right onto the L-3424 Mill Road.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-110-2024, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 7th August 2024. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

L-1206-0 Longueville Junction to Kilgobban Cross Roads, Ballyclogh, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 09:00hrs on Monday 2nd September 2024 to 17:00hrs on Friday 4th October 2024. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Re-Surfacing Works.
Alternative Routes
South (Mallow) bound traffic on L-1203-14 turn left for Ballyclogh Village, L-1203-30 at Forge Cross Roads, continue through Ballyclogh Village turning right to stay on L-1203-30 to Mountnorth Cross. Follow L-1203-52/74 to Kennel Hill, Mallow and N-72-375.
North (Ballyclogh) bound traffic continue west on N-72 towards Lombardstown. Turn right to L-1201-0, continue straight on L-1201, turn right to L-1203-14 and turn left for Ballyclogh Village, L-1203-30 at Forge Cross Roads.
The works associated with this closure will take approx. 1 week to be completed and these works will be undertaken within the above timeframe.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
