Cork County Council and Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre are delighted to announce a partnership residency for artists Patsy Tyrrell & Fiona Boniwell. Taking place in April and May 2024, this partnered residency supports artists seeking opportunities to research and develop their practice, and engage with Uillinn, local and diverse communities and the public. The award includes a studio space for 4 weeks at Uillinn and a stipend of €2,500 each. Both residencies are funded by the Cork County Council Arts Service.

Cork County Council’s Creative Communities Programme Fund 2024 is now open for applications which focus on new and ambitious projects that establish cultural and creative activities with communities across Cork County. This year, for the first time, the fund will be available for projects of one, two, or three year duration.

Cork County Council’s Library Head Quarter Gallery is excited to present ‘The Books We Haven’t Read’ a solo exhibition by Elize de Beer. Cork County Council are excited to announce the appointment of award-winning poet, Victoria Kennefick to the position of writer in residence for a ten-month period beginning this December.
