Irish Road Bowling Art Exhibit to Open at Macroom Town Hall

Cork County Council joins artist James L Hayes in inviting the public to experience his latest exhibition ‘The Score’, a captivating exploration of the traditional Irish sport of road bowling. This unique contemporary art showcase, presented in collaboration with members and players from Ból Chumann na hÉireann, The Irish Road Bowling Association, will open its doors to the public at 7pm on Saturday, July 8th in Macroom Town Hall.

“Body Of” Exhibition Opens at LHQ Gallery

To coincide with Cork Pride, Cork County Council Library and Arts Service has announced a three-person exhibition by artists Conor O’Brien, Oskar Szewczuk and Samir Mahmood, each representing the marginalised non heteronormative body in their work.

Art Meets Fun at Clonakilty's Eastát Garrán Feá

Cork County Council has joined up with artists Carmel Creaner and Anne Kiely together with residents of Eastát Garrán Feá in Clonakilty to launch a largescale outdoor game for residents of all ages to enjoy.

Cork County Council Announces New Culture and Creativity Strategy (Bilingual)

Cork County Council has launched its new 5-year Creative Ireland Culture and Creativity Strategy 2023-2027.  The Creative Ireland programme aims to create pathways to a wide range of creative and cultural possibilities, connecting individuals and communities and encouraging people of all ages to discover their personal creative potential.
