Cork County Council 's Irish Language Office is working to implement the provisions of the Official Languages Act and the commitments made in our language scheme, and to make the Irish language more central and visible in the council and in the county in general.

Cork County Council 's Irish Language Officer is a member of Cork County Council' s Culture Team and the Arts, Culture & Languages Strategic Policy Committee.
