Cork County Council Joins Your Council Day on Friday, July 5th
Your Council Day, the national event to highlight, promote and celebrate local government, will this year take place on Friday the 5th of July. Cork County Council will be joining local authorities across the country to mark the day and promote our role in Irish Life.
Local authorities provide thousands of services with the aim of making great places in which to live, work and invest. Across social media, #YourCouncilDay will showcase the work of our committed and passionate local authority employees who are working to make a difference to the lives of the people in their community.

To celebrate Your Council Day and to highlight some of Cork County Council’s own tourism attractions, Michael Collins House, Kinsale Museum, Skibbereen Heritage Centre, Youghal Clock Gate Tower, St. Marys Collegiate Church and Camden Fort Meagher will offer FREE Entry on Your Council Day this Friday.
Simply mention “Your Council Day” on arrival at your chosen attraction to avail of the offer and tag Cork County Council on photographs of your visit with the hashtag #YourCouncilDay or #DoLásaChomhairle
