Wellbeing Event ‘Together at the Lodge’ Postponed due to Adverse Weather

Mental Health and Wellbeing Event ‘Together at the Lodge’ Returns to East Cork

The ‘Together at the Lodge’ mental health and wellbeing event at Midleton Lodge Park that was due to take place this weekend has been postponed until Sunday, the 6th of October 2024, due to the adverse weather forecast.

Met Éireann has issued status yellow rainfall warning for persistent heavy rain affecting County Cork this Sunday. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the organisers have made the decision to postpone the event.

Together at the Lodge will now take place at The Lodge, Midleton on Sunday the 6th of October from 12 noon to 4pm. It will feature a wide range of entertainment, recreational activities, workshops, and information stands from over 30 local community groups and organisations.

The event aims to strengthen community bonds across East Cork and raise awareness of the mental health and wellbeing support services available, while offering a fun day out for the whole family.

It is organised by Cork County Council in partnership with Cork Kerry Community Healthcare, Connecting for Life, Midleton & Area Chamber of Commerce, and supported by Midleton Family Resource Centre, and SECAD.
