Funding Awarded to Progress Feasibility Study to develop Cross-Border Tourism Experience for Brow Head

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins has welcomed the announcement that funding of €100,000 has been awarded under the Shared Island Local Authority Development Fund to progress a feasibility study for the ‘Four Points of the Island’ project. Cork County Council will collaborate with Kerry County Council, the lead Local Authority Partner together with Donegal County Council and Ards and North Down Borough Council.

Sod Turning signals beginning of Water-Rock Development

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins, Darragh O’Brien TD, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and Director of Infrastructure Delivery for Irish Water, Brian Sheehan have turned the sod signalling the start of the new Water-Rock development as part of the LIHAF Initiative Infrastructure Works near Midleton, Co. Cork.

Funding Announced for 18 Anti-Dumping Projects in County Cork

Cork County Council has been successful in securing funding of €108,000 under the Waste Enforcement Regional Lead Authority (WERLA) Anti-Dumping Initiative 2022.  The funding will support 18 diverse projects that aim to tackle illegal dumping in Cork County.
