Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-95792-3 Monataggart, Donoughmore, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 26th May 2025 to 17:00hrs on Friday 30th May 2025 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the construction of a cattle underpass.
Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling South East along the R579 should continue until the junction with the R619. At the junction traffic should turn right onto the R619 and continue until the junction with the L-95792-3. Then turn right onto the L-95792-3 and continue to their destination.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-22-2025, not later than 5pm on Tuesday 15th April 2025. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Ag an acomhal sin, ba chóir don trácht casadh ar dheis chuig an R619 agus leanúint ar aghaidh go dtí an t-acomhal leis an L-95792-3. Is féidir leo casadh ar dheis ansin chuig an L-95792-3 agus ar aghaidh chuig a gceann scríbe.
