Temporary Closing of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-3234 Friars St., Kinsale, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Tuesday 19th March 2024 to 18:00hrs on Wednesday 20th March 2024. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate a water and sewer connection to a new development.
Alternative Routes
Continue southwards on Church Lane L-9715, turn left onto Church Square L-9715 and take the left onto Cork St., L-3234.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-13-2024, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 21st February 2024. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

L-9728 Rampart Lane, Kinsale, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Wednesday 20th March 2024 to 18:00hrs on Friday 22nd March 2024. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate a water and sewer connection to a new development.
Alternative Routes
Continue southwards on Blind St L-9714, turn left onto Winter’s Hill L-9727 and continue onto The Mall, L-7251.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-14-2024, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 21st February 2024. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
