Temporary Closing of Public Roads

ROADS ACT, 1993
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Proposed Closure

L7848-0 Lissacrue, Killeagh, Co. Cork. 

Period of Proposed Closure 

From 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs (Daily Closure) from Monday, 2nd September 2024 to Friday 6th September 2024. 

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Ducting installation for broadband cable.

Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling Westbound along the N25 from Killeagh, continue on to Castlemartyr Traffic Lights take a left along the R632 towards Ladysbridge, then take the next road to the left the L7848-0.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Objections

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-103-2024, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 31st of July 2024. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
