Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-9418-0 Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, Co. Cork – from junction at Oliver Plunkett Place and Sun Court Estate to junction with McDermott St.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 19:00hrs to 06:00hrs (Nightly Closure) on Tuesday 15th April 2025 to Thursday 24th April 2025.
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Úisce Éireann to carry out relining works on the existing foul water infrastructure in the area.
Alternative Routes
Via L-9403-0 Oliver Plunkett Place, turning left onto R907-0 Main St., Midleton onward to R627-0 Connolly St. rejoining L-9418-0 at its junction with McDermott St.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-19-2025, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 26th March 2025. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
