Digital Reader Pen
Cork County Council Library and Arts Service is delighted to announce the addition of 16 C-Pen Readers available for lending via our branch and mobile library network.
The reader pen scans text and then reads it aloud to assist with independent reading. Reader pens are useful in the promotion of independent reading and would be of particular use to people with dyslexia or aphasia. They are also of use to anyone learning a new language or who might be experiencing problems with their vision. The pens would be useful at home, in school or in your local library.
This initiative is supported by the Department of Rural & Community Development, Dormant Account Funds and Cork County Council.
