International Women’s Day Flash Fiction 2025

Cork County Council Library and Arts Service launched a Flash Fiction Creative Writing Competition for adults in 2022 to coincide with International Women’s Day. 

Now in its fourth year, the theme of this year’s competition is “Growth”, and entries can be submitted in both Irish and English. The winning entries (one in each language) will each receive a €75 book token. 

The winners along with three highly commended entries, will be published here. The closing date for entries is 31st March 2025.
