Proposed footpath and Traffic Calming, Church Bay Road, Crosshaven

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, Cork County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following measures to provide safer pedestrian movements and reduce traffic speed on Church Bay Road, Crosshaven between Sunnyview Estate and Roundabout. The proposal consists of:-

  • Provide Footpath links between village and Sunnyview Estate along Church Bay Road
  • Improvement of Road Surface
  • Provision of Zebra Pedestrian Crossing on Church Bay Road, South of Roundabout 
  • Provide traffic Calming Measures

Drawings and particulars of the proposed projects are available for inspection at Cork County Council, Municipal District Engineering Office, Church Road Carrigaline, Co. Cork and may be inspected during normal office hours from 23rd May to 17th June inclusive.

Submissions regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office on or before 5 pm on Friday 17th June 2022. Submissions may be made by email to carrigalineroadsoperations@corkcoco.ie.
