Section 38 - Section 38 - Proposed Traffic Calming measures on the L2011 & L2033 Convent Hill, Bandon, County Cork.
- Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, Cork County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road works on the L2011 & L2033 Bandon, Co. Cork.
- Installation of a footpath along the L2011 between Cedar View and Cul Na Greine.
- Installation of a raised table crossing on the L2011 just east of public road junction with the L2033 and associated kerb alignment.
- Installation of raised table crossings at the entrances to the estates, Cul Na Greine, Castleheights, Cedar View, Cedar Mews & Allmans View, The Tannery.
- Traffic calming measures on road between Inis Ogra L2033 and the Newcestown road L2011 to include a raised table pedestrian crossing at the entrance to Inis Ogra and a raised table pedestrian crossing across the L2033 road to Inis Fail and footpath improvement works.
- Ducting for public lighting.
- Roadside drainage and all associated works.
The works will involve the construction and installation of kerb alignments, raised tables, footpaths, and associated works.

and may be inspected during normal offices hours from 9am on Friday 27th September until 5pm Monday 28th October 2024 inclusive.

Submissions regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or by email to bandonroadsoperations@corkcoco.ie on or before 5 pm on Monday 28th October 2024.
