What we do (Housing Infrastructure Implementation Team (HIIT))

The Housing Infrastructure Implementation Team (HIIT) is a multidisciplinary team within the Forward Planning Division which was set up in October 2016 and is responsible for implementing policy and delivering housing infrastructure on the 5 Urban Expansion Areas (formerly known as Masterplan sites) in County Cork.

The Urban Expansion Areas (UEAs) are as follows: Shannonpark in Carriagline, Water-Rock in Midleton, Carrigtwohill North in Carrigtwohill,  Ballynoe in Cobh & Monard SDZ.
