West Cork Islands Community Fund Scheme 2019

Cork County Council is pleased to launch it's West Cork Islands Community Fund Scheme 2019.

The proposal was first initiated by the Members of Cork County Council when considering its budget for 2019 and the Members agreed to set aside a fund of €50,000 which is ring-fenced to support Island community development through small scale capital and amenity projects on the Islands.

The scheme was officially launched at the March Monthly Meeting of the Municipal District of West Cork held on March 4th.

The aim of the fund is to improve the range and quality of community-based facilities and services on the Islands.

The Islands Community Fund Scheme will be administered by the Municipal District of West Cork who are inviting funding applications for projects from Island Communities. The scheme will support projects up to a cost of €25,000 but will also support smaller scale projects where there is a proven benefit to Island Communities.
