‘Made By Hands’ An Exhibition of 51 Artists, Makers, and Designers at LHQ Gallery

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service presents ‘Made by Hands’ a group exhibition featuring the work of 51 artists, makers, and designers at LHQ Gallery, Carrigrohane Road from the 22nd of November to the 20th of December 2024.

Pieces on display will include painting, print, photography, ceramics, furniture, jewellery and textiles selected through an open call by Cork County Council’s Arts Office. Many of the works will be for sale and offer an opportunity to acquire an incredible artwork or a special gift this festive season.

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Joe Carroll welcomed the return of the exhibition for a second year,

Cork County Council is proud to present works by such a wide array of talent in our dedicated space at LHQ. Giving artists, craftspeople, designers and other creatives an opportunity to show their works is important. This exhibition will showcase the incredible works of a variety of craftspeople from Cork County and beyond.

‘Made by Hands’ opens from the 22nd of November at LHQ Gallery, Cork County Library, Carrigrohane Road, Cork from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm. All are welcome at the opening reception at 2:00pm on Saturday, 23rd of November.
