Temporary Closing of Public Roads

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:

Temporary Speed Limit L-3418 Ballinagree Road, Ballyveerane, Macroom

Cork County Council will be imposing a 50km/h temporary speed limit for the duration of works commencing Monday 25th of October, 2021 to Friday 17th of December, 2021 or such earlier date as may be determined by the Council. A Temporary Road Works Speed Limit of 50km/h will apply at the below Road Location:

Following consultation with the Health Service Executive, Irish Water and Cork County Council are issuing a Boil Water Notice with immediate effect to protect the health of consumers supplied by the Macroom Public Water Supply.
