Book of Condolence in Memory of Those who Lost Their Lives in the Turkey - Syria Earthquake
Mayor of the County of Cork. Cllr. Danny Collins has opened a Book of Condolence in memory of the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
On opening the Book of Condolence, Mayor Collins said,
On behalf of the people of Cork County, I offer my sincere condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones in the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Our thoughts are with the injured and those experiencing the devastating aftermath of this tragedy. I would like to pay tribute to the brave emergency staff and rescue volunteers who have been relentless in their efforts to save lives and to aid those who have been affected.
