LOCAL MARKETS SHOWCASE THE ‘BEST COUNTY CORK HAS TO OFFER’
The Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Frank O’Flynn and Chief Executive of Cork County Council Valerie O’Sullivan are encouraging everyone to soak up the festive atmosphere in towns and villages across the county with several pop-up Christmas markets and special events planned over the coming weeks designed to support local businesses, jobs and communities.
There will be several festive markets featuring unique crafts, gifts and local produce taking place at Mallow Castle, Fermoy, Macroom, Bandon, Dunmanway, Ballineen/Enniskeane, Bantry and Castletownbere to name but a few. The markets will run at various times and locations throughout the month of December. Final touches are also well underway with Christmas lights being switched on and special Christmas events planned to make sure there really is something for everyone to be found in County Cork.

Cork County Council is also providing special car parking arrangements across its own operated car parks throughout the month of December. Visitors are encouraged to check the offers in their local area.
