Cork County Council Marks Milestone 70th Anniversary of Cork City Sports

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr. Joe Carroll joined the Cork City Sports Committee to host the launch of the 70th Cork City Sports International Athletics Meet 2024. One of the premier events on Ireland’s athletics calendar, Cork City Sports will take place at Munster Technological University Stadium, Bishopstown on Tuesday the 9th of July.

Community Embark on Town Centre First Regeneration Plan for Kanturk

Representatives from a range of local community and business groups attended an information evening to mark the first steps towards a Town Centre Regeneration Plan for Kanturk. The inaugural event offered over 40 community stakeholders in attendance the opportunity to meet with staff from Cork County Council’s Town Regeneration Office and to find out how to get involved.

Cork County Council Grants Creative Wishes for Cruinniú na nÓg 2024

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service has announced the 2024 Cruinniú na nÓg programme, with over 30 creative events planned across the county on Saturday the 15th of June. This year’s programme is unique in that it was almost entirely programmed by the children of Cork themselves.
