ROADS ACT, 1993
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:- 

Roads Subject of Proposed Closure
L-93082-1 & L-93082-0 – Duggans Lane, Macroom, Co. Cork.

Period of Proposed Closure 
From 08.00hrs on Wednesday 29th June, 2022 to 17.00hrs on Wednesday 31st August, 2022 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Installation of ESB Ducting.

Alternative Routes
From South Square take the L-9308-0 up Sleaveen Hill and then follow the L-3414-41 on High Street.  Alternatively follow the N22 east to the junction with the L-9301-0 Chapel Hill.  Follow L-9301-0 up Chapel Hill and onto L-3414-41 High Street.  

Both routes are applicable in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-85-2022, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 8th June, 2022.Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L8326-0 (Part of) Rushanes, Glandore, Co. Cork.

Period of Proposed Closure 
From 08:00hrs to 23.00hrs on Monday 27th June, 2022 (one day closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Filming of a Drama Series.  

Alternative Routes
The suggested alternative route is from R597 through to Glandore Terrace via the section of the L8326-0 (which is not closed) and in turn leads onto the L83261-0. Local access to properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-88-2022, not later than 5pm on Thursday 9th June, 2022.  Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
