TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below: -
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-3613-0 (Part of) Gortacrue Townland, Midleton, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday, 19th September 2022 to 17:00hrs on Friday, 23rd September 2022 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Construction of a Cattle Underpass.
Alternative Routes
From the 3 Crossroads in Gortacrue Townland detour south at the Golf Club via L-3610-25 to 3 Crossroads south of Carrrigona Bridge on the R626-0 Lisgoold Road. Detour south via R626-0 Mill Road, Midleton to the L-7630-0 to Broomfield turning north-eastwards onto R627-0 Dungourney Road and forward to L-3614-0 at Kathleen Doyles Hill. Continue onwards to Ballyspillane West 3 Crossroads re-joining the L-3613-0.
Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-102-2022, not later than 5pm on Friday, 19th August 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
