Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 10 (1) of the Road Traffic Act 2004, as amended, that a Road Works Speed Limit Order has been made in the interests of road safety and to facilitate the construction of asphalt footpath, realignment of junction, construction of concrete build out and pedestrian crossing being carried out on the R639-144 in the townlands of Meenane, Tinagregagh and Condonstown South, Co.Cork.

Location:

• Section of R639-144 – Watergrasshill to Rathcormac Road in the Townlands of Meenane, Tinagregagh and Condonstown South –  introduce a 60kph speed limit on the R639-144, at a distance of 150m to the south of the junction of the R639 and L-1523-0, to a point 275m north of the junction of the R639-144 with the L-1523-0 (north of Watergrasshill GAA Club) for a total distance of 0.425km.

The Road Works Speed Limit to be applied shall be 60km/h (reduced from 100 km/h)

This speed limit applies from midnight on 20^th September, 2021 to midnight on 19^th September, 2022 or such earlier date as determined by Cork County Council.

Relevant speed limit signs will be in place.

Regard shall be given to any representations made in writing to the undersigned in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit Order.
