Proposed Traffic Calming Works on the L3811-0 & L7912-0 Lisglasheen/ Moanlahan , Killeagh, Co. Cork.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 (as amended), Cork County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out traffic calming works on the L3811-0 & L7912-0 Lisglasheen/ Moanlahan, Killeagh, Co. Cork.
The works will involve:
- Installation of raised table uncontrolled pedestrian crossing at Greenway crossing point
- Kerb realignment, installation of new footpaths and widening of existing footpath
- Adjustment to entrance to Woodview Estate (L7912-0)
- Removal of existing boundary wall and ditch
- Construction of new stone wall boundary to match existing Woodview Estate entrance
- Road markings and signage
- Hard and soft landscaping and
- All associated works.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed works will be available for inspection from Monday 13th May 2024 until Friday 31st May 2024:

- at Cork County Council’s Offices, East Cork Municipal District, Mall House, 29 Friar Street, Youghal, Co. Cork, P36 Y894 between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
It may be inspected during normal office hours from Thursday 9th May 2024 to Friday 7th June 2024 inclusive.

Please include the Section 38 project title (as per the above notice) on all submissions and observations sent to Cork County Council relating to the proposed works. It should be noted that the Freedom of Information Act applies to all records held by Cork County Council.
