Cork County Council’s Local Enterprise Office North Cork has announced that teenage entrepreneurs from Scoil Mhuire Kanturk will represent North Cork at this year’s Student Enterprise Programme National Finals.

Carrigaline Municipal District and the City of Newport News, Virginia, US have signed a Twinning Agreement at Carrigaline Court Hotel on March 19th. The signing ceremony was attended by 12 delegates from Newport News, including Councilwoman Dr. Patricia P. Woodbury and President Frederick J. Kohlman, Jr. of Sister Cities of Newport News Inc.

Cork County Council has hosted a special civic reception to honour Carrigaline Tidy Towns Committee on their gold medal success in the National Tidy Towns Competition 2022 and their ongoing commitment to Carrigaline town.

Cork County Council extends ‘Good Luck’ message to the three County Cork Communities nominated for the IPB Pride of Place Awards in association with Co-operation Ireland. The ceremony takes place on Saturday the 21st of January 2023.
