Temporary Closing of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R612 Crosshaven Road, Carrigaline, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 07:00hrs on Monday 15th April 2024 to 00:00hrs on Friday 26th April 2024. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Reconstruction and Overlay Works.
Alternative Routes
When travelling from Carrigaline along the R612 turn right at O’Leary’s Cross and continue on the R612 towards Duggan’s Cross and turn right into Brightwater and on to Crosshaven Village.
When travelling from Crosshaven come through Brightwater and turn left on to Duggan’s Cross and travel along the R612 until O’Leary’s Cross and turn left for Carrigaline.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC 25-2024 , not later than 5.00pm on Friday 8th March 2024. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-2964 New Line Road, Brooklodge, Glanmire, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 06:00hrs on Monday 20th May 2024 to 18:00hrs on Monday 12th August 2024 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate rebuilding of Culvert Bridge for the Glanmire Flood Relief scheme.
Alternative Routes
Approaching from Glanmire on the L-2966 continue past the turn for the L-2964 and take the next Left on to the L-7022 continue to the T junction turn left on to the L-2964.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
