STRATEGIC POLICY COMMITTEES 2024 - 2029

Cork County Council has established its Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) Structure and Scheme, to consider matters connected with the formulation, development, monitoring, and review of policy which relate to the functions of Council and to advise Council on those matters. The scheme is available to view at Strategic Policy Committee Scheme. Membership of the SPCs is comprised of local Elected Members and representatives of various sectoral interests.  

There is currently a vacancy for a representative(s) on the following SPCs:

•    Environment, Climate Action & Biodiversity        
•    Economic Development & Enterprise            
•    Tourism                            
•    Housing                            
•    Roads & Transportation                    
•    Social Inclusion, Community & Rural Development        
•    Arts, Culture & Languages                    
•    Coastal, Marine & Flood Policy
