Christmas Opening Hours - Motor Tax Office

Cork County Council’s Motor Tax Office and our dedicated Customer Contact Centre phone service 021-4544566 will be closed on 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th of December and 1st of January. The Motor Tax Office will be open by appointment on the 30th and 31st of December and from the 2nd of January.

Appointments can be made by accessing our online booking system at  www.yourcouncil.ie. You can also contact our Customer Contact Centre at 021-4544566 on the 30th and 31st of December and from the 2nd of January to make an appointment.

You can avail of our postal service by downloading a motor tax form from our website www.corkcoco.ie and posting it to The Cork Motor Tax Office, Model Farm Road, Cork. T12XP80.

Alternatively, you can visit Motor Tax Online throughout the Christmas period at www.motortax.ie for a range of services including Motor Tax renewals and Statutory Off-Road Declarations. Your pin number will be the last six digits of the serial number on your Vehicle Registration Certificate.
