Cork County Council invites applications for a Writer in Residence for a twelve month period in 2025. The residency is open to published writers in any genre – fiction writers, poets, journalists, scriptwriters, etc.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road.

Due to operational issues Derryconnell Civic Amenity Site will be opening at 10.30am and closing at 3.30pm on Thursday 3rd of October 2024 

Dursey Cable Car will not be operational tomorrow Sunday the 29th of September due to strong and gusty winds. It will resume operations when weather conditions permit and following inspection if necessary.
