The Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Joe Carroll has congratulated the West Cork community of Durrus for their success at the prestigious Pride of Place Awards.

On Tuesday, 19th November, teenagers from across Cork County will participate in this year’s Teen Talk event, which focuses on promoting positive mental health.

The Pride in Our Community Awards 2024 were held with great enthusiasm at the Kingsley Hotel recently, bringing together a diverse array of groups from Cork County and City.

The Cork County Age Friendly Strategy 2024 – 2028 aims to provide a structure for interagency cooperation which is essential to improve the quality of life for older people in the county. 

Cork County Council’s Arts Office is inviting artists to become part of a newly established ‘Community of Practice,’ specifically designed for those engaged in socially driven artistic practices.

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service has selected ‘Freya Harte Is Not A Puzzle’ by author Méabh Collins as the chosen title for this year’s ‘One County, One Book’ initiative.
